The United States Equestrian Federation announced the dates and location of its 2009 Eventing Winter Training Sessions for its High Performance and Developing Riders' Teams in Aiken on Friday afternoon. The sessions will be held at Three Runs Plantation on Feb. 17-21, March 4-6 and March 17-19. "We're so delighted to have been invited by Three Runs Plantation to hold the training sessions at this magnificent facility, and we're thrilled that they'll be the host," said Ite O'Higgins, organizer. The United States Chef d'Equipe and technical adviser for eventing, Capt. Mark Phillips, will conduct and coach the High Performance and Developing Riders teams at the winter training sessions. A VIP brunch will be hosted by Three Runs Plantation owner/developer Wayne Raiford on Feb. 19, with proceeds benefitting the United States Equestrian Federation Eventing Team, said O'Higgins. The brunch will be held in the clubhouse and will be staffed by agents of the Carolina Real Estate Company, she said.
