Silver Bluff Girls 60 Wade Hampton Girls 48 Silver Bluff High School's girls' basketball team was led by Jamie Foreman, who dropped in 21 points, as the Lady Bulldogs defeated Wade Hampton Friday. Cellonda Crawford scored 10 points and Kaylin Foreman added 11 points to help the Silver Bluff effort. Silver Bluff's record is 14-3 overall and 6-0 in the region. They play next on Monday at Pelion. Wade Hampton Boys 66 Silver Bluff Boys 65 Silver Bluff High School's boys' basketball team fell one point short against Wade Hampton Friday. The Bulldogs were led by Theron Stephens, who had 19 points, and L.J. Green who finished with 16 points. The Bulldogs are now 13-4 overall and 3-3 in the region. They play next on Monday at Pelion. Blackville-Hilda Girls 41 RS-M Girls 17 Ridge Spring-Monetta's girls' basketball team fell to 2-8 in the conference and 4-11 overall Friday night with a loss to Blackville-Hilda. The Lady Trojans were led by Octavia Cannon with five points. Ridge Spring-Monetta plays Tuesday at Williston-Elko. Richland NE Boys 74 Aiken Boys 43 Aiken High School's boys' basketball team suffered a lopsided loss to Richland Northeast Friday. AHS was led by Trondell Long with 14 and Devon Johnson with 10 points. Aiken fell to 11-8 with the loss and 5-5 in the region. The Hornets next play Tuesday at home against White Knoll. Aiken Christian Boys 64 Aiken Prep Boys 26 Nate Brown outscored Aiken Prep on his own, posting 30 points to help lead Aiken Christian (9-4) to a lopsided win over Aiken Prep (2-7) Friday. Greg Stephens added nine points to the winning effort, while Tim Olson scored seven. Joel Mooneyham and Vilai Harrington each scored six. Aiken Prep was led by Weston Peters, who scored 11, and Carlton Norwood who chipped in seven. Aiken Chrisitan will by at Andrew Jackson Academy on Tuesday. North Augusta Girls 38 Irmo Girls 50 North Augusta Lady Yellow Jackets were upended Friday night falling to Irmo. The Lady Jackets were led by Kayla West, who has 21 points. Michaela Stephenson also added 11 for North Augusta. Brooke McCants and Brianna Stanton both had 11 for Irmo. North Augusta falls to 9-10 overall and 5-5 in the region. The Yellow Jackets play again on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against Orangeburg-Wilkinson. Williston-Elko Boys 56 H-K-T Boys 46 Antonio Walker went off and scored 39 points for Williston-Elko as they improved to 11-8 overall and 8-2 in the region. The Blue Devils are at home on Tuesday against Ridge Spring-Monetta at 7:30 p.m.
