Gloverville Pentecostal Holiness Church continued its tradition of helping orchestrate weekly, large-scale food giveaways July 22, in partnership with a variety of other organizations, but that day's particular event was on the grounds of the church, in an effort to relieve congestion and abide more closely with health guidelines. The menu this time around included such items as apples, grapes, chicken, lima beans, chocolate, chili beans, popcorn, bread, cookies and "a little bit of everything," in the words of the Rev. Eder Herrera, the church's pastor. The session served 143 vehicles, with 437 people represented among them.
