LANGLEY -- Entered into rest on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, Mrs. Lavina "Ann" Davis Miller, 67, wife of Mr. John Edward Miller, of Old Apache Lane, Langley. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Betty Ann Miller of Clearwater and Virginia Lynn Craig (Charles) of Langley; four sons, John Victor Ray Miller of Aiken, Larry T. Miller Sr. (Debra) of Warrenville, Sammy K. Miller Sr. (Debbie) of Graniteville and Kenneth Wayne Miller of Langley; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Miller was born in Orangeburg to the late Larry Oliver and Bessie Leard Davis. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church, a soloist in the church choir, a member of the W.M.U. and a nursery worker. She volunteered for a number of years for V.O.I.C.E. Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Pine Forest Baptist Church with the Revs. Ron Doss and Roger Goupil officiating. Mrs. Miller will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Miller, Larry Miller Jr., Wayne Miller Jr., Philip Miller, Sammy Miller Jr., Robert Sparling and Freddie Duplisea. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, U.S. Highway 1, Langley.
