Remember my life, cherish my legacy. On the early morning of Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, while at the Azalea Woods Nursing Care Facility in Aiken, our God and his army of heavenly angels removed from our presence the life of this father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Mr. Johnny N. Scott. The funeral service in his honor will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at the H.G. Cheatham Sr. Memorial Chapel (within Cheatham Funeral Homes), Langley, with Rev. Westley Guyton officiating. Mr. Scott was a native of Old Ellenton. He attended the Aiken County Public Schools and was a former truck driver with a Sheet Metal Co., in Philadelphia, Pa., before moving back to Aiken. His loving and supportive survivors include one daughter, Kiana Scott-Bey; two granddaughters, Kaamali and Madison; two brothers, David Scott and Travis Scott, both of Aiken; his niece and caregiver, Mary Scott; several other extended and very bereaved relatives and loyal friends who will always remember his life. The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 802 Cushman Drive, Aiken. The viewing will be held on today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
