Doris Lillian BurnsWilliamson

BATH, S.C. – Mrs. Doris Lillian Burns Williamson, 87, of Bath, SC, entered into rest at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the wonderful care of Alliance Hospice, on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2013.
Born in Johnson County, GA, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Mattie Mae Harrison Burns. She was a Homemaker and was a member of Bath First Baptist Church. Mrs. Williamson enjoyed fishing, was an excellent cook and according to her family, she had a “Green Thumb”…..she could grow anything!!!!!!
Family members include her late husband, the late Hubert J. Williamson; children, Dean Williamson, Bath, SC, Diane (Bobby) Nettles, St. Augustine, FL, Carolyn (Donald Lee) Miller, North Augusta, SC and Hubert Jerome Williamson, Jr., Bath, SC; grandchildren, Robert Nettles, Clay Nettles and Donna Faye Owens and eight great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 26th, 2013, at 11 o’clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with her grandson, Clay Nettles, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath, SC.
Flowers are welcome, but if so desired, memorials may be made to Alliance Hospice ( for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Williamson and the rest of the family.
Friends are welcome to call at the family residence and friends will also be greeted by the family on Thursday, July 25th, 2013, from 6 until 8 o’clock at
