Man charged in shooting death HARTSVILLE (AP) -- A man has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting in a Hartsville home. Hartsville police said in a news release that 28- year-old Tremaine Lewis of Darlington was found dead in the home about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Investigators identified a suspect a few hours later, and 30- year-old Kendrick Littles turned himself in early Monday morning. Police wouldn't disclose any motive for the shooting. Littles is charged with murder and is being held at the Darlington County jail. It wasn't clear if he had an attorney. Homemade bomb explodes SOCASTEE (AP) -- Authorities said a homemade bomb exploded inside a trash bin at an Horry County recycling center. Horry County police said in a press release that workers at the center in Socastee reported a small explosion around 1:15 p.m. Monday. The police bomb squad checked the container and found what police called a homemade device. No one was injured in the blast and the recycling center reopened after police checked the other trash bins and found no other devices.
