The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Aiken County Coroner's Office are investigating a fatal early morning crash in North Augusta.
Dexter N. Young Jr., 25, of Rainbow Falls Rd., North Augusta was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Rainbow Falls Rd.
Young was driving North on Rainbow Falls Rd. when his 1992 Honda Accord crossed the centerline and exited the left side of the road and struck a tree at approximately 8:50 a.m.
Young was pronounced dead at the scene. He died of blunt force injuries. Toxicology analysis are pending.
