The assailant spraypainted the word "gypsy" on a mirror along with several other explicit words found on the refrigerator, walls and kitchen counter. The curtains were also spraypainted, holes were punched in the walls and several pieces of furniture were damaged, according to a sheriff's report. Several items, which were not listed in the report, were also said to be stolen from the home. * An Aiken man reported Sunday that someone broke into his Andrews Circle home and stole several appliances, according to a sheriff's report. * A North Augusta woman reported on Sunday that someone broke into her vehicle while it was parked on Wilde Avenue and stole a variety of medications, according to a sheriff's report. * Belvedere Elementary School, located on Rhomboid Place in North Augusta, reported Sunday that someone had broken into the school, according to a sheriff's report. A metal ceiling tile was found in the floor of the main hallway, along with muddy footprints. Deputies found a double-edged knife on the roof and a screw driver near on a window ledge near the entry point. Nothing was reportedly stolen from the school. * An Aiken woman reported on Sunday that someone broke into her vehicle while parked on Bethlehem Circle in Graniteville, according to a sheriff's report. Nothing was reported stolen, but the rear and front passenger side windows of the vehicle were shattered. * A manager of the Richland Avenue Walmart reported to police that he found a bag of marijuana on the floor of the store Saturday evening, according to a police report. The manager found it near the Woodforest National Bank entrance.
