Aiken Regional Medical Centers' parent company, Universal Health Services Inc. announced today that Carlos A. Milanes will take over as CEO of Aiken Regional Medical Centers effective March 1. Milanes has been the Chief Operating Officer at ARMC for the past six years and has a background in managing acute care facilities. Prior to his post at ARMC, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Palm Springs General Hospital in Miami for 12 years. "My mission as the hospital's new CEO is to continue to lead us into the future and to reach new levels of excellence, so that we may continue to offer the highest quality health care services to this community - close to home," Milanes said. He holds a Master in Business Administration, a Master in Health Science and a Master in Education from the University of Florida. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Marc D.
