A Johnston man was killed and two other people were injured in a two-car crash in Aiken County late Friday night.

Bobbie Dublin, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables.

Dublin died of multiple body trauma, Ables said. Dublin was not wearing a seatbelt, both Ables and S.C. Highway Patrol Cpl. Judd Jones reported.

The crash happened just north of Reynolds Pond Road on S.C. 19 at around 11:20 p.m., according to Ables.

Dublin was driving a 2004 Nissan Altima headed north on S.C. 19, the coroner said. At some point, he crossed the center line and hit a southbound 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ables continued.

Dublin's passenger, a female, was taken to a hospital, Ables said. Jones had previously described her injuries as "serious."

The driver of the Jeep – a 35-year-old, according to Jones – was taken to a hospital, as well. The corporal said those injuries were non-life-threatening.

Toxicology on Dublin is pending, Ables said, and Highway Patrol continues its investigation.
