Another great aspect of the sports community in Aiken County is the wealth of youth sports opportunity provided. It's not hard to find a tournament or sports league to sign young athletes up for.
The tournaments are endless – one of the biggest, the Aiken Soccer Cup, just completed its 23rd annual tournament. The Aiken Soccer Cup features club soccer teams from across the state. The tournament is held at Powderhouse Polo Fields, Whitney Polo Fields and Citizens Park.
Citizens Park also hosts several baseball and softball tournaments throughout the year, but it isn't the only venue in the county with youth sports opportunities. Riverview Park, Gregg Park and several other facilities offer a spot to participate in youth sports.
