It’s that time of year when the little pilgrams and American indians come together to hear Thanksgiving stories and tell some of their own stories why Thanksgiving and sharing is important to them.

The annual Thanksgiving Storytime held Tuesday at the H. Odell Weeks Activities had children 8 and younger dressing up in their favorite Thanksgiving story character. A free book to each family in attendance and two lucky children received a door prize. The event was free and put on by the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department.
