One of the five teenage suspects charged in the shooting death of 15-year-old Jordan Shores, of North Augusta, was denied bond in an Aiken County courtroom Wednesday.

Undraize Antonio Dixon, 17, of Warrenville, is charged with murder, first-degree burglary, discharging firearms into a dwelling, three counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and armed robbery/robbery while armed or allegedly armed, jail records state.

Judge Doyet A. Early III denied Dixon’s motion for a bond. Dixon will remain in jail until his trial date is set.

Dixon was charged along with Deonte Raequan Schultz, 17; Aikel Leetrez Harrison, 19; Ronquavis James Howard, 17; Raihem McCorkle, 17; and a 15-year-old juvenile, who was not identified.

Neither of the other four have been before the court yet.

Schultz, of Beech Island, is charged with murder, armed robbery, three counts of attempted murder, first-degree burglary, discharging a firearm into a dwelling and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to jail records.

Howard, McCorkle, and the juvenile are charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, first-degree burglary and armed robbery, according to jail records.

All remain in the Aiken County detention center, except for the juvenile who was taken to the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.

On Nov. 19, 2016, around 1:28 a.m., a uniformed patrol officer who was in a shopping center at 4435 Jefferson Davis Highway heard gunshots coming from the area of Fairview Road, and while in the area, saw a red sedan traveling at a high rate of speed, according to Cpt. Eric Abdullah with the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle fled the scene after the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, he said.

A short while later, police responded to 1034 Fairview Road after someone called 911 in reference to a shooting incident.

When police arrived, they found Shores in the living room unconscious where a large pool of blood had formed beneath him, according to a police report.

Another teenage victim, 16, told police both were playing video games when three unknown subjects entered the home through an unlocked front door, and they were each armed with handguns and were wearing masks, according to the report.

The victim told police one suspect fired his gun several times in the general direction of one of the victims, while another approached the second victim and struck him several times in the face with the blunt end of his firearm, police reported.

The suspects left the home with a PlayStation 4 and fled the scene while firing additional rounds into the home, police reported.

Shores was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.

Police arrested Dixon and Shultz following a police chase on Nov. 19, while the other three arrested at Silver Bluff High School on Nov. 21.
