* A burglary was reported on Ridge Avenue in Aiken over the weekend. Electronics and a vacuum cleaner were reportedly stolen from the home. There were signs of forced entry. * A Lexington man reported that his red Jeep Laredo broke down near mile marker 33 on I-20 a week ago today and, when he returned over the weekend, he couldn't find the vehicle. Neither the S.C. Highway Patrol nor Aiken County Sheriff's Office deputies have a record of towing the vehicle. * Aiken County Sheriff's Office deputies were notified of an alleged armed robbery at a club on Dry Branch Road in New Ellenton. A victim told deputies he and another man were approached by two subjects, one of whom was armed with a machine gun. The man said they were robbed. They waited five days to report the incident. * A woman reported that she was pistol whipped by an unidentified man while she was at a President Drive residence Sunday. The woman said the man struck her and then discharged the weapon as he left. The incident occurred about 12:30 a.m. Shell casings were found. * A burglary was reported over the weekend at a Cox Avenue home. A 50-inch flat screen television was broken. There were signs of forced entry.
