GREENVILLE (AP) — A third suspect is charged in connection with a fatal summer shooting.
Media outlets report the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Reokas Beeks is charged with murder in the death of 34-year-old Brian Wright. He was arrested last week. It isn’t clear if he has an attorney.
Sheriff’s office investigator Henry Hammett said Wright was shot multiple times on July 9. Twenty-two-year-old Cisco Henderson and 20-year-old Javante Geddie, both of Greenville, are also charged with murder in Wright’s death.
Geddie surrendered to authorities about a week after the shooting. His attorney, Christopher Scalzo, declined comment to The Greenville News.
Henderson was arrested in October. He appeared in court Wednesday with his attorney, Sarah Henry, for a preliminary hearing.
All three men are being held without bond.
The investigation continues.
