Jill Marie Gardner (nee. Taylor) of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Christopher “Chris” Lojko of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, were united in marriage on Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at the Broward County Courthouse. Linda L. Roberts, deputy clerk, officiated.
The bride’s dress was a knee-length, A-line ivory lace dress with a hunter green cable knit cardigan sweater. The bride carried a bouquet of thistles, purple snapdragons and baby’s breath tied with lavender and dark purple organza.
Following the wedding, the happy couple went to lunch at Lester’s Diner, one of their favorite local restaurants.
The bride is the daughter of Sharon Taylor Padgett of Aiken, S.C. She is a 1997 graduate of Barnwell High School and is self-employed at Namaste Pet.
The groom is the son of Paula Dedrickson Lojko of Coral Springs, Florida, and the Late Nikolaus Lojko. He is a 1995 graduate of J.P. Taravella High School, Coral Springs, Florida, and is employed by Broward County as a maintenance supervisor in water management.
An extended honeymoon trip will follow in early 2017.
The couple will continue to reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The bride’s grandparents are the late Frank Lewis Brunson, originally of Allendale/Gifford, S.C., the late JoAnn Brabham Brunson, originally of Allendale, S.C., and the late Nina Wilson Taylor of Florida.
The groom is the grandson of the late Paul and Mary Dedrickson, originally of Boston, MA.
