The sixth annual Harvest Home concert will be held held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at St. John's United Methodist Church, 104 Newberry St. S.W. Admission is free but donations of non-perishable food items is encouraged. The concert will feature the Aiken Civic Orchestra, Bound to Sing Boy's Choir, Masterworks Festival Chorus, St. John's United Methodist Chancel Choir and the USCA Concert Choir. All donations will benefit Area Churches Together Serving.

Thankful Grove Baptist Church will hold a college scholarship fundraiser in the family life center of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, 856 Mt. Beulah Road, Windsor, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10. The event will feature a fashion show, food, an auction and entertainment. 

South Aiken Presbyterian Church, 1711 Whiskey Road, will hold its annual Secret Santa for Aiken County families in need of assistance providing Christmas gifts. Registration for children ages 1-12 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 27, and Saturday, Nov. 3, at the church. Each child will receive approximately three gifts and some basic necessities.

Aiken Prays will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Houndslake Country Club, 901 Houndslake Drive. Aiken Prays is a non-denominational women's prayer group affiliated with Stonecroft. There will be a devotion and prayer time followed by a Dutch treat lunch and fellowship. Prayers may be said aloud or silently. Reservations are required. Helpful Hands Ministries Inc., Mobile Food Bank will be in downtown Ridge Spring from 10 a.m. to noon every fourth Saturday. The supporters are Cedar Creek (Ridge Campus), Dollar General, Episcopal Church of the Ridge, Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, RSM Elementary School, Ridge Branch Baptist Church, Ridge Spring United Methodist Church and others.
