Vacation Bible School

Central Baptist Church, 1652 Wire Road, will hold Vacation Bible School from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 16, through Tuesday, June 18. The kickoff will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15. Family Night will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 19. Incoming kindergarten through sixth-grade students are welcome to participate. This year's mission effort will provide nutrition packets and health check-ups for moms and babies in Zambia, Africa. ROARS is open to kids ages 3 through fifth grade. Mt. Salem Ministries will hold its ninth annual Sleepout 2019 for the Hungry and Homeless from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 16-17 at the Langley Church of God property, 2444 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville. Aiken Prays, a non-denominational women's prayer group affiliated with Stonecroft, will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at The Village Cafe, 110 Coach Light Way S.W. All interested women are invited to attend. A short devotion will be shared and discussed, leading into the prayer time. Prayers may be either silent or aloud and will focus on ways to share God's love with others in addition to prayers for the community, country and personal concerns.
