The Aiken County Transportation Committee will hold a work session meeting at 6 p.m. today with a public meeting at 7 p.m. in the Sandlapper Room located on the first floor of the Aiken County Government Center, 1930 University Parkway. Both meetings are open to the public.

Cats on the Mat will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 18, at the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare, 199 Willow Run Road. Participation is limited to 35.
