The Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame and Museum hosted 160 guests at its annual fundraising event Breakfast at the Gallops on March 18. All proceeds from the event will go toward maintaining current exhibits and creating new ones. The event was held at the Aiken Training Track and gave people an opportunity to see horses train and to learn more about horse racing in general. The special guest speaker was Caton Bredar. She is a veteran thoroughbred horse racing analyst who was honored in 2019 by the National Turf Writers and Broadcasters with the Jim McKay Award for lifetime achievement in broadcasting.
