AIKEN, SC – On Saturday, February 11, 2012, Mrs. Shelby Jean Widener Webb, wife of the Rev. Ernest Webb, of Aiken, SC entered into rest. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Ernest Webb, five children; Debra Lowe (Mike), Jerry Webb (Wanda), Charlene Blackmon (Jason), Timothy Webb, and David Webb (Melissa), all of Aiken, SC. She has five sisters, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Webb was born in Aiken County, SC to the late Rhett and Minnie Lee Key Widener. She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at Spring Branch Baptist Church, in Windsor, SC. Her passion in life was her family and having them together for dinner. She loved gardening and working at South Aiken Baptist Church for 12 years.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 3 pm in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Brancie Stephens and Olin Sizemore officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Lowe, Christopher Lowe, Jeremy Webb, Matt Webb, Ben Webb, Brent Blackmon.

Memorials may be made to the Spring Branch Baptist Church - Building Fund, 641 Centerwood Road, Windsor, SC.

Friends may call on Monday evening from 6 until 8 o’clock at Hatcher Funeral Home, US 1, Langley, SC.
