WILLISTON, S.C. – Funeral services for Roy Eugene Tant, 71, of Williston, SC will be held at two p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2012 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, with Rev. Floyd Dukes officiating. Burial will be in the Williston Cemetery with Masonic Rites accorded. The family will receive friends after the service at the Williston Church of Christ on Halford Street. Roy passed away Monday, February 06, 2012.

Born in Barnwell County, SC he was the son of the late John Oscar Tant and Helen Grubbs Tant. He was a member of Edisto Baptist Church and Hope Masonic Lodge # 126. He was a pipe fitter, having worked at Dayco and retired from Coley Electric. He was a US Navy veteran.

Survivors include daughter, Kelly Rebecca Tant; son, Brian Thomas (Kasey) Tant; grandchildren, Austin, Kay-lah, Devin, Lynnette, Daniel; sister, Diane (Ronnie) Tuttle. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Sanders.
