MARTINEZ, GA. – entered into rest February 11, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Mark Alan Burkhart, 57. Husband of Roberta C. Burkhart for 20 years.

Memorial Services will be conducted Tuesday at 4:00 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church with Pastor Greg Porterfield and Pauline Hughes officiating.

Mark had been a quality control Supervisor at W. R. Grace in Aiken, SC. Mark served in the U. S. Army.

Mark enjoyed playing golf, riding his motorcycle, traveling and spending time with family. He was always helpful to others. Mark loved his cats Little Girl and Bear.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Thomas H. Burkhart.

Additional survivors include, Mother, Sarah Burkhart, Aiken, SC, brothers, Joe Burkhart (Meg), Florida, Ron Burkhart (Lee), Richard Burkhart (Sandra), Kenny Burkhart (Cindy) Aiken, Garry Burkhart (Debbie) Atlanta, Ga. Sisters Patty Bell (William), Teresa Clendenen (Geoff) Aiken, SC.
