Jessie Mae Ellis Boyd “Retired Coordinated Apparel”
WARRENVILLE, SC – Entered into rest on Saturday, September 22, 2012, Mrs. Jessie Mae Ellis Boyd, wife of Mr. Joseph “Joe” Boyd, Sr, 19 Willis Road, Warrenville, SC. Surviving is her husband, Joseph “Joe” Boyd, Sr, Warrenville, SC; four children, Sheryl Redd (Gene), Gloverville, SC, Tina Williams (Kevin), Aiken, SC, Joe Boyd Jr (Tammy) and Latina Boyd, all of Warrenville, SC; a sister, Eva Palacios, Waynesboro, GA; three brothers, Joseph “Joe” Ellis, Graniteville, SC, Jerry Ellis, Aiken, SC and Alton Ellis, Edgefield, SC; eight grandchildren: Ashley Kimbrel, Erica Gibson, Joseph Williams, Jonathon Williams, Jeremy Boyd, Mallory Brown, Maranda Brown and Linda Gail Couch; four great grandchildren: Landon Kimbrel, Derrick Kimbrel, Jeremy Gibson and Kyleigh Gibson and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Boyd was born in Bullock County, GA to the late Joseph L. and Irene Harrelson Ellis. She retired from Coordinated Apparel, Jackson, SC and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Aiken, SC and their Deacon’s Wife Committee. She loved to shop and cook. Her family said she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 11 o’clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Bernie Snipes and Robert Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Jim Gardener, Ken Phillips, Eric Hartley, Jeremy Ellis, Kevin Gardener and Jack Mundy. Friends may call at the residence or on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, U.S. Highway No. 1, Langley, SC.
