Izeal Garrett Sr.
GRANITEVILLE, S.C – Mr. Izeal Garrett, Sr., 79, of Rainbow Falls Road, entered into rest February 10, 2012 at his residence. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Garrett, a native of Edgefield County was a member and deacon of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran. Survivors include three sons, Izeal Garrett, Jr., Graniteville, SC, Mikel Garrett (Earnestine), North Augusta, SC and Bearnart Garrett, Graniteville, SC; seven daughters, Patricia G. Way (Jimmy, W. Columbia, SC; Mary G. Lucas (Brad), Greenville, SC; Gloria Harris (Rick), Irmo, SC; Catherine Saylor (Earnest) and Debbie S. Pope (Wyman), Aiken, SC; Zelda Teresa Taylor (Victor), Raleigh, NC and Cynthia Bush (Tony), Cleveland, TN; two brothers, Roosevelt Garrett, Washington, DC and Wallace Garrett, Sr., (Mary), North Augusta, SC; four sisters, Florence Madison, Philadelphia, PA; Rosa Lee Singleton (Johnnie), San Antonio, TX; Pearlie Love (Earl), Hephzibah, GA and Estelle Garrett, Philadelphia, PA; sisters-in-law, Roberta Garrett, North Augusta, SC; Mary McGee (James), Detroit, MI and Hattie Collier, Brooklyn, NY; 12 grandchildren. 11 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
