Henry David 'Bunk' Little
BATH, S.C. – Mr. Henry David “Bunk” Little, 77, of Bath, entered into rest on Sunday, August 26th, 2012. Born in Aiken County and a lifelong resident of Bath, he was a son of the late Henry V. and Rozella Free Little. A veteran of the Korean War, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a faithful member of the V.F.W. #153 and the 40 and 8. Bunk loved to work on cars and was a self- employed Auto Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. He was a Dale Sr. fan and following the death of Dale Sr, be became a Dale Jr. fan. In addition to his parents, family members include siblings, Katie Ricketson, (Fred) Augusta, Barbara Farmer, (Aubry) Bath, Connie Bishop, (Frank) Belvedere and Eddie L. Little, (Snookie) Belvedere; step-mother, Jewell Little, Clearwater; step-children, Amy Brooks, (David) North Augusta, Roger Davis, Augusta, Andy Davis, Clearwater, Tony Davis Augusta, Phyllis Jones, North Augusta and the late Ken Hewitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved very much. A special “Thank You” to Alliance Hospice and caregivers, Miss Carolyn, Trish and Valarie, for the care provided to Bunk. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 29th, 2012, at 2 o'clock at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bath, with Pastor Daniel White, Mr. Jimmy Free and Mr. Henry Carlin officiating. Interment with veterans accorded by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Bath. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Henry Carlin, David Carlin, Kenneth Hancock, Brian Gray, Dewayne Gray, Josh Chavis and Foster Crowder. Bunk will be placed in the church at 1 o'clock Wednesday. Friends may call at the home of Katie and Fred Ricketson. The family will greet friends on (tonight) Tuesday, August 28th, 2012, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.
