Joy - Drum
Christine Drum of Columbia and Nolan Joy of Columbia were married Dec. 17, 2011, in Mt. Beulah Church, Windsor, SC. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. John Shelton, of NewSpring Church, officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Marvin and Eileen Drum of Windsor, SC. She is a granddaughter of Mary Fowler and Renetta Dodd.
The bridegroom is a son of Charlie and Patricia Joy of Pelzer, SC.
Allison Catoe, friend of the bride of Kershaw, SC, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Serago, Aiken, SC, cousin of the bride; Caroline Herring, Anderson, SC, friend of the bride; and Katlyn Serago, Aiken, SC, cousin of the bride.
Charlie Joy, father of the groom of Pelzer, SC, was the best man. Groomsmen were Adam Wright, Lancaster, SC, friend of the groom; Duncan Joy, Easley, SC, brother of the groom; and Roy Drum, Lexington, SC, brother of the bride.
Following a reception in the Aiken Municipal Building, the couple left for a wedding trip to Charleston, SC.
They will reside in Columbia, SC.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of South Aiken High. She is a graduate of Anderson University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. She is employed by Lexington Five School District.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Pelzer High School. He is a graduate of Universal Technical College, Texas with a degree in automotive mechanics. He is employed by Midlands Honda.
