Andersons celebrate 60 years together
Bob and Marjorie Anderson were married at North Fort Worth Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 4, 1951. Bob was a student at Sam Houston College in Huntsville, Texas. Bob and Marjorie moved to College Station, Texas, in 1953 where Bob attended Texas A & M University. They moved to Aiken, S.C., in June 1955. Bob worked 34 years for the DuPont Co. at the SRP, retiring in 1989.
Bob and Marjorie have three wonderful children. John Franklin Anderson born May 25, 1952, in Huntsville, Texas; Kandy Lee born August 6, 1955, in Augusta, Ga., and Gregg Quinn Anderson born January 24, 1957, in Augusta.
Bob and Marjorie have been blessed with four great-grandchildren; two granddaughters, Amanda (Brian) Mellard and Julie C. Anderson; two handsome grandsons, Zachary and Skyler. They also have two dear great-grandchildren, Anna Carmen (2) and Wilkerson (6 months).
The Andersons celebrated by attending church and with family members.
