Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Myles Potter were married Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Charleston. The ceremony was held at 5:30 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Flessas officiating. The reception followed at the S.C. Society Hall.
The bride is the former Kathryn Anne Mooneyham, daughter of Joe Mooneyham of Greenville and Fran Mooneyham of Powdersville. She was given in marriage by her parents.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Potter of North Augusta.
The maid of honor was Jeri Ann Tucker, Anderson, cousin of the bride. The greeters were Madison Horne, Sally Kate Patterson, Kate Morgan, Elizabeth Ann McCuen. The flowergirl was Kye Rilyn Owens, cousin of the bride.
The best man was John Potter Jr., father of the groom. The ushers were Bryant Potter, John Potter, brothers of the groom, Bo Mooneyham, and Ty Mooneyham, brothers of the bride.
The flowers were arranged by Galan Potter, mother of the groom. The bride’s book was by Wilson’s Photography. The cake was made by Linda, catering by Berry’s Catering.
Grandparents in attendance: Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bowen, Martha Kilgore, Miriam Potter. The ceremony was dedicated to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wheeler Mooneyham, grandparents of the bride, and John Potter Sr. and Albert Kilgore, grandfathers of the groom. The couple will reside in Charleston.
