Blair Elizabeth Heinke, daughter of Dennis and Leslie Heinke of Sykesville, Md., and Justin Andrew Mullner, son of James and Claudia Mullner of North Augusta, were married on July 7, 2012.
The wedding and reception were held at the historic William Aiken House in downtown Charleston with Dr. Dan McCall officiating at the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of McDaniel College and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of South Carolina.
She is currently the head team physician and director of sports medicine at Georgetown University in Washington D.C.
The groom is a graduate of Presbyterian College and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He is finishing residency in family medicine at the University of South Carolina and has accepted a fellowship in sports medicine at Atlantic sports health, where he will provide sideline coverage for the New York Jets and New York Red Bulls starting July 2013.
The bride chose her sister, Mallory Heinke, of Baltimore, Md,. to serve as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anya Prokofieva of New York, N.Y., Allison Pentecost of San Francisco, Calif., Jill Krebs of Westminster, Md., and junior bridesmaid was Emily Mullner of North Augusta.
The groom chose his friend, Matthew Brigmon of Bogota, Colombia, to serve as his best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Mullner of Greenville, Jacob Mullner of Charleston, and Will Bynum of Washington, D.C.
The couple met while working together at USC and will reside in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. as well as Morristown, N.J.
