LETTER: Random acts of kinds
As I walked out of Walmart earlier today, I was truly blessed. A woman I have never met before approached me and presented me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, saying these are for you, I hope you have a blessed day. In the moment of slight confusion, I looked around the parking lot only to see a boy who looked to be about 10 years old just smiling from ear to ear. He was surrounded by many beautiful bouquets. Seeing the joy in that young boys face, and knowing all of those flowers will be given to a complete stranger warms my heart. I am glad I was giving the opportunity to pass forward this blessing this evening to another unknowing recipient. Knowing that others have also received the same blessing I have, I hope all of them will feel the joy of getting to pass it forward. This is just an example of how even in a small town like Aiken, the most random acts of kindness or just even a smile in passing, can warms someone's heart.
