An Aiken man reported that two 12-volt batteries used for classic cars were taken from under the carport of his Red Oak Drive home, according to a sheriff's office report.

A North Augusta couple reported hearing loud noises outside their Thompson Avenue home and saw several marks on both of their vehicles that appeared to be from landscaping bricks, according to an Aiken County Sheriff's Office report. Nothing was missing from the first vehicle, and the second was not entered.

A Cherokee Drive woman in North Augusta reported that a for sale sign was taken from her yard.

Two well pumps were reportedly stolen from a Holder Road home in Batesburg.

An Aiken woman reported that someone forced entry into her Millerton Court home, and all of the furniture was gone. The victim told the responding deputy that she had not been in the home for two years.

Two cartons of Newport cigarettes were reportedly stolen from the Circle K gas station on East Pine Log Road in Aiken.

A Langley man reported that the key to a lock box that held his birth certificate, Social Security card and bank card went missing from his Augusta Road home but stated that the box did not appear to be disturbed.

A woman reported that her diamond ring and a wedding band were stolen from a Whiskey Road hotel after she left the rings on the night stand and went downstairs for breakfast. When she returned, she stated that the rings were missing. One ring was later found in her luggage, but the diamond ring was not located. The hotel stated that the housekeeping staff had not yet arrived at work, according to the report.

Over the course of eight different incidents, a total of $698 was stolen by one woman from the register of an Aiken Mall department store, according to an Aiken Public Safety report.

An Oriole Street woman stated that someone poured diesel fuel into her son's truck that takes unleaded and let the air out of his tires.

Multiple vehicles were reportedly broken into on Cherry Hills Drive in Aiken. All were in the driveways of residences, and nothing was taken from any of them.

A vehicle was reportedly broken into while parked on Park Avenue, and a black wallet was removed.

A vehicle was reportedly broken into on Horry Street in Aiken, and a pink makeup bag and a black bag containing Zumba weights were stolen. The items were later found placed on the back porch of a nearby residence.
