An Aiken woman reported that shots were fired at her Florence Street residence Friday after an unknown female entered her home and assaulted another person who was present, according to a police report. The woman left the residence and got into a gray Chevrolet Impala with an unknown male who then shot a gun two to three times in the air. No injuries were reported.
An Aiken man reported a laptop missing from his York Street home Friday, according to a police report.
Two women reported on Friday that their vehicles were broken into while parked on Banks Mill Road and each of their purses were stolen, according to a police report.
A Beech Island man reported on Friday that someone threw a brick through his vehicle's window while parked at his Old Aiken Road home and stole some electronics, according to a sheriff's report. A red flashlight that didn't belong to the victim was found by the deputy while searching the vehicle.
A North Augusta woman reported on Friday that someone broke into her vehicle while parked at her Seminole Drive home and stole a black Books-a-Million bag that held several items, according to a sheriff's report.
Verizon Wireless reported on Friday that someone stole copper from a cell phone tower located on Wire Road in North Augusta after cutting a hole in the fence, according to a sheriff's report.
