Cooking with Madjon: Brussels Sprouts




TOTAL TIME: 20 minutes

PREP TIME: 10 minutes

COOK TIME: 20 minutes

YIELD: 6

INGREDIENTS

2.1 Ozs. thick cut cooked bacon

2 containers fresh Brussels sprouts

1 packet Goya chicken bouillon

1 packet Goya ham bouillon

4 chopped green onions

1 cup white wine

Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Wash and clean the Brussels sprouts and cut them into halves.

2. Heat a 2 quart sauce pan on medium heat to cook the bacon. After the bacon is semi-cooked, add the chopped onions.

3. Add the Brussels sprouts, salt and pepper and wine to the pot. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and stir frequently while it cooks. Cook for 15 minutes or until done.

*Note: This is the recipe of a dear friend; However, I have added green onions to the recipe.
