LETTER: We are marching into tyranny
While the American people were enjoying the New Year Eve, our rogue president signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012. This mountainous act consist of more than 1,000 pages. Within the act was a little know Section 1021, granting the president absolute power to indefinitely detain American citizens suspected of being belligerent. There would be no habeas corpus, no trial, no due process and no legal representation. This one act decimates the Bill of Rights, along with the checks and balances of the Constitution.
On the heels of the National Defense Authorization Act comes the National Emergency Centers Act which allows for the detention of civilians, in military and FEMA camps.
Step-by-step, inch-by-inch, our leaders are marching us into tyranny. It is the responsibility of our elected representatives to safeguard our Constitutional rights. Everyone who voted for these laws needs to be impeached and ridden out of Washington in disgrace. Do not expect the mainstream media to out these criminals.
As George Orwell said: "In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act."
