Police Blotter for Feb. 10
Aiken Public Safety is investigating the theft of a 1992 Ford Ranger, reportedly taken from the parking lot at Centre South earlier this week.
The victim said he left the vehicle unsecured in the parking lot with the keys in the ignition on Tuesday. When he returned Wednesday, the vehicle was gone.
A car break-in was reported on Happyland Circle in North Augusta earlier this week. Electronics and tools were reportedly stolen from the vehicle.
A Pickens Avenue resident reported that an unidentified suspect attempted to break into her home by cutting the screen and breaking out a window. No one entered the residence.
Police are investigating an Aiken man's claim that his credit card had been charged without his authorization at a gas station on Richland Avenue.
An Aiken man reported that his credit card was used at a Richland Avenue restaurant/bar without his authorization. The transactions were each for $9.
