Wagener-Salley HS 81,
Blackville-Hilda HS 57
Wagener-Salley (18-5, 13-3 Region 4-A) picked up the season-ending victory going into the playoffs. Rakeem Hicks and RJ Tyler each had 14 points for the War Eagles, and Andre Lilly added 13. Wagener-Salley - the No. 2 seed in the region - will host the winner of CA Johnson and Lewisville on Tuesday in the Class A playoffs.
Ridge Spring-Monetta HS 64,
Fox Creek HS 57
Ridge Spring-Monetta (13-10, 8-7 Region 4-A) collected the crucial region win with a balanced scoring attack. Justin Millhouse scored 18 points in the win, and Mike Jones and Bradshea Jeffery each scored 16. Fox Creek's DJ Curry led all scorers with 28 points, Quadre Castleberry had 14 for the Predators and Deondre Baskett had 11. The Trojans must win today's makeup game against North, scheduled for 7:30 p.m., to advance to a play-in game on Saturday at 5 p.m. against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler for the No. 4 seed and a trip to the playoffs.

Schofield MS 57,
Jackson MS 45
The Schofield Middle School boys' team won the county championship with a win over Jackson Middle School Thursday. Bryson Jones scored 17 to lead the way, while Jupree Perry chipped in 14. Deangelo Drayton scored 19 for Jackson.
GIRLS
Fox Creek HS 38,
Ridge Spring-Monetta HS 31
Fox Creek (8-10) pulled off the region win behind a 17-point effort from Kiana Green, and Dominique Moore chipped in 12.
Shay Freeman scored 16 points, 18 rebounds, five steals and four blocks in the loss for the Trojans, and Ty'Miyah Tyler added 11 points, six rebounds and three steals.
RS-M has a make-up game against North today at 6:30 p.m. and will travel to play CA Johnson Monday at 6 p.m. in the first round of the Class A playoffs.
North Augusta HS 56,
Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS 53
The Jackets upset the region's top team with a buzzer-beating half-court shot from Jasmine Coach.
Wade Hampton HS 43,
Silver Bluff HS 39
Silver Bluff (13-10, 9-2 Region 5-AA) came up short in the region title game on Thursday and will carry a No. 2 seed into the Class AA playoffs.
Khadajah Simpkins and Jasnequa Walker led the Bulldogs in scoring with 16 and 12 points, respectively.
Silver Bluff will host a playoff game Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Paul Knox MS 29,
North Augusta MS 17
Paul Knox Middle School defeated North Augusta Middle School in the Aiken County Middle School championship. Alli Bell scored nine points for PKMS (13-2), while Tanner Starnes scored eight. Kentasia Trimier scored seven for North Augusta.
