LETTER: Our schools must be fixed
Aiken County Public Schools are under "corrective action" per the No Child Left Behind Act. What does this mean? How did we get there? What leaders are responsible for this decline? Test scores have dropped, discipline is nonexistent and communication with parents is a foreign concept to Brookhaven. When are we going to have real leadership and stop the decline of our schools?
Is anyone really believing we don't have district superintendents anymore? How much money was saved with the reclassification of jobs and move to a tribunal system? All employee salaries are posted online, but not on this newspapers website.
