Police seek two in card theft
Aiken Public Safety officers are searching for two suspects connected to a stolen financial transaction card that was used on Jan. 30 at the Richland Avenue Wal-Mart ATM.
The card was reported stolen from a vehicle in North Augusta.
According to police incident reports, the victim's bank statements showed that more $1,500 was charged to her card at Wal-Mart.
Aiken Department of Public Safety is asking for the public's assistance in identifying these two individuals. Anyone with information is asked to call the Aiken Department of Public Safety Investigative Division at 642-7620. Any callers can remain anonymous. Callers can also call CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME-SC. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of $50 to $1,000.
