Sheriff's Office investigating attempted break-in
Aiken County Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating an attempted break-in at a Clinton Church Road in Salley.
Investigators said two suspects attempted to break into the home and were also seen milling around the victim's camper and air conditioner.
The resident said he believes the cameras he installed may have scared off the suspects.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Aiken County Sheriff's Office at (800) 922-9709. Individuals also should call CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME-SC. Callers can remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of between $50 and $1,000.
