Three arrested during police investigation
The Aiken Department of Public Safety arrested three people while police were following leads on a Sunday night murder.
Moses Williams, 19, of Princess Lane, was shot around 11:30 p.m. in the Hahn Village area. He was pronounced dead at Aiken Regional Medical Centers early Monday morning.
While police were conducting interviews at a home on Greenville Street, a number of individuals ran from the residence, police said, and one person was seen with a handgun.
Arrested at the residence were Ronald Anthony Harris Jr., 40, who will be booked on drug charges; Devlin Devon Simpkins, 21, who will be charged with failure to comply with a lawful order; and Jonathan Lott, 25, will be charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, failure to comply, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
All suspects are from Aiken.
