Talkback for Feb. 7 Air Force One, listening to phone calls and the crime rate
Air Force One
I am sick and tired of people talking about our president and using Air Force One to fly around the county. To conduct business, he must fly to these foreign countries. How is he supposed to get there? Walk? Or do you want to take him?
Exit onto Whiskey
When can we expect ADPS and the City to do something about the people in their cars and trucks heading south on Whiskey Road who cross the median into the Cracker Barrel exit from the parking lot? They're driving in the out lane, and, on Saturday, there was almost an accident. When will something be done? There was not supposed to be an exit there.
Listening in
People can now listen in on your phone calls with their CBs. I've been going through this for 20 years. I've had neighbors calling, saying we eat possum stew. When people check their bank account, people are listening in and that's how they're losing money in their checking accounts.
Trash
It's not the uneducated and the unemployed or those on welfare putting trash on the streets. It's the educated, the employed and those not on welfare. They should be out there picking it up.
Crime rate
I retired and moved to Aiken because it was a nice, quiet town. With all the break-ins and murders going on, I should just move back to Columbia.
