Sunday evening shooting victim identified
A man was shot and killed Sunday night in the Hahn Village area, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.
Investigators responded to a shooting at around 11:30 p.m. and discovered the victim, Moses Williams, 19, of Princess Lane, with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to witnesses, Williams was shot while in a vehicle and then transported to Aiken Regional Medical Centers by his girlfriend, where he was pronounced dead at 1:26 a.m. Williams is scheduled for an autopsy this morning in Newberry, and the cause of death is pending.
Williams' death is to be ruled a homicide based on current information. ADPS is investigating the crime.
