Houser - Smallwood
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henry Houser, Jr. of Chapin, S.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Marie Houser, also of Chapin, S.C., to Jason Matthew Smallwood of Mount Pleasant, S.C. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen W. Rainer of Isle of Palms, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald B. Smallwood of Columbus, Ga.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Frances L. Houser and the late Mr. J. Henry Houser, Sr. of Columbia, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ashton Rose of Hopkins, S.C. She is a 2007 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in management and real estate.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Marjorie S. Poe and the late Mr. John Robert Poe and Mrs. Helen J. Pearson and the late Mr. J.C. Smallwood, all of Columbus, Ga. He is a 2002 graduate of Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Administration degree in finance.
The wedding is planned for April 14, 2012, at Daniel Island Club, Charleston, SC.
