A Beech Island woman was shopping at a Southside retailer Friday when she noticed that her license plate had been stolen. The plate was entered into the National Crime Information Center.
Aiken Public Safety is investigating a complaint from an unknown caller who said, "Grandma help me," and the child needed money. The victim said the caller asked for money but realized it was a scam.
An Aiken man was arrested on Redd Street after a fight broke out late Wednesday. The suspect was highly intoxicated and charged with disorderly conduct.
An Aiken man was placed on trespass notice at SCE&G after the man began yelling about his bill. The employees said they did not feel safe.
