LETTER: Objects to Gingrich desire for open marriage
Recently we heard to story of Newt Gingrich and his second wife having a conversation regarding his infidelity. He asks his second wife to agree that they can have an open marriage, a euphemism for adultery. He asserts that his paramour (nicest name I can think of) is OK with that. Predictably, his wife is not. So, we now know that Callista was willing to go on having an illicit sexual affair with a married man, a man whose wife knew about the relationship. There are other names for that kind of woman, and, since we all know what they are, I won't ask this newspaper to print them. However, I would like to ask my fellow citizens if you really want one as First Lady. I don't.
