TalkBack: Class warfare, Obama and voting

Not your business

To the person who said stop whining SRS, it's none of your business. If you're not out there, you don't know what goes on.

Class warfare

I am sick and tired of fair share, fair shake, fair shot. My husband and I have a combined income of $40,000. We have managed to raise two children without ever asking for help from anyone. We have been careful in our purchases. We bought a home we could afford in case one of us was not able to work. We bought cars we could afford, only one car payment at a time. When we had no extra money, we did not buy things. Never have we been jealous of those who could afford more. This class warfare is going to tear this country apart. Stop it.

Obama

Notice how President Obama constantly talks about the benefits of "green energy" yet uses several planes to fly his family to Hawaii for a Christmas vacation, flies around the country for a 12-minute speech and, according to the Nevada Reporter, had 22 gas-fueled cars in his motorcade there recently. "Do as I say, not what I do?"

I thank the Obama administration for raising the gas prices. This is why we have the 19 cent increases of gas prices.

I want to vote

Where do you go to register to vote for South Carolina?

Taxes

It is not discrimination to ask people with greater incomes to pay a greater percentage in taxes. That is called progressive taxation. Before Bush Jr. came along, Republicans believed in it.

I know

In response to the comment about not wanting to be around parents, I love my parents. I don't like being around them. They constantly put me down to other family members. Yes it is a big mistake to move back in if you lost your job. Make the money however you can if you lost your job. Believe me, I know.
