Hamilton Larson Wedding Announcement
Kristin Annette Larson and James Alexander Hamilton III (Alex) were married July 9, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC. The Reverend Brian Stewart officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at the historic Westin Poinsett Hotel in downtown Greenville.
The bride is the daughter of Karen Williamson Cook and John M. Larson of Okeechobee, FL. She is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank "Sonny" Williamson, Jr., and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis "Red" Larson, all of Okeechobee, FL. She is a 2003 graduate of Okeechobee High School, and is a 2006 and 2009 graduate of the University of Florida with a Masters in Advertising. She is employed by Erwin Penland Advertising in Greenville, SC.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Hamilton, Jr., of Aiken, SC. He is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. WR Hunt of Aiken, SC and the paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James A. Hamilton, Sr. of Graniteville, SC. He is a 2001 graduate of South Aiken High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of South Carolina, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics and Real Estate. He currently plays golf professionally.
The Matron of Honor was Mrs. Lesley Schreier, and the Maid of Honor was Miss Lindsey Stevens, both of Gainesville, FL. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ashlee Moore of Mt. Vernon, MO and Mrs. April Hickman of Greenville, SC.
The Best Man was the groom's father, Mr. Jimmy Hamilton of Aiken, SC. Groomsmen were Mr. John Louis Larson of Okeechobee, FL, Mr. Franklin Buchanan of Columbia, SC, and Mr. Gavin Donaghy of Marco Island, FL.
Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned in Jamaica. They reside in Greer, SC.
