Griffin Christenson Wedding Announcement
Kara Elizabeth Christenson of Aiken, South Carolina and Travis Michael Griffin of Aiken, South Carolina were married June 25, 2011 at Rose Hill Estate in Aiken, SC. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Matthew Lee Bramlett, of Aiken, South Carolina officiated.
The bride is daughter of George Christenson and the late Nancy Christenson of Aiken, South Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Raymond and Margaret Spradling of St. Albans, West Virginia and Sarah Christenson and the late John Christenson of Charleston, West Virginia. She is the great granddaughter of Freda Young of Charleston, West Virginia.
The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Julie Griffin and Pamela and Vince Kramer of Aiken, SC. He is the grandson of Robert and Patricia Rodda of Hudson, Michigan and Gilbert and Betty Griffin of Aiken, SC.
Kathryn Elizabeth Morris of Aiken, SC was the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brittany Klein Sauerborn, Lexington, SC, friend of the bride; Lauren Nicole Harris, Macon, GA, friend of the bride; Sarah Hatsuko Okawa, Columbia, SC, friend of the bride; Leslie Ann Grffin, Clover, SC, sister of the groom.
Adam Conrad Sauerborn of Lexington, SC was the best man.
Groomsmen were Paul Athan Gregory, Columbia, SC, friend of the groom; Andrew Lawson Brown, Aiken, SC, friend of the groom; Benjamin Arthur Kepes, Austin, TX, friend of the groom; Lee Michael Christenson, Charleston, SC, brother of the bride.
Following the reception, the couple left for a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
They will reside in Aiken, South Carolina.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a 2007 graduate of The University of South Carolina with a degree in fashion merchandising. She is also a 2011 graduate of Aiken Technical College with a degree in nursing. She is employed by Aiken Regional Medical Center.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of South Aiken High School. He is a 2006 graduate of The University of South Carolina with a degree in Psychology. He is employed by Aiken Public Safety.
